Building BeeLine — Part 2: Making Room for the Office

Another piece of the BeeLine Equipment shop is starting to take shape.

When you’re building a new business from the ground up, not everything has to be permanent on day one.

While we decide exactly what we want our permanent office space at the front of the building to look like, we’ve brought in a temporary office so we can keep things moving behind the scenes.

It’s another small—but important—step in turning our new facility into BeeLine Equipment.

A Temporary Home Base

Our temporary office is located right inside the shop, which makes it a convenient home base while the rest of the facility continues to come together.

Like just about everything else around here right now, it’s still a work in progress.

We’re setting up desks, computers, printers and the other things we need to handle the day-to-day side of the business. We’re also figuring out what works, what doesn’t and what we’d like to incorporate into the permanent office when the time comes.

For now, it gives us a dedicated place to keep BeeLine moving forward.

Building More Than Equipment

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before a spray truck ever makes it onto the shop floor.

Quotes need to be prepared. Parts need to be ordered. Builds need to be planned and scheduled. Customers need support. And, of course, there’s all the accounting, paperwork and day-to-day work that comes with running a business.

This little office will be where much of that happens for the time being.

Planning for the Future

Eventually, we plan to build a permanent office space at the front of our facility.

Rather than rushing into it, we’re taking some time to determine exactly what we need and how we want the space to function.

Using the temporary office gives us the flexibility to keep operating while we make those decisions—and maybe learn a few things along the way about what we want in the finished space.

One Project at a Time

There’s still plenty to do around the shop.

Parts are arriving. Work areas are being organized. Equipment is being put into place. And we’re continuing to prepare the facility for our first BeeLine builds.

We’ll keep sharing the progress here on The Hive as the shop—and BeeLine Equipment—continues to take shape.

One project at a time, BeeLine is taking shape.

Built to Spray. Built to Last. Built for Professionals.
